I’ve spent all evening watching car after car drive by, speeding to get where they’re going like they don’t have enough time, and I’m an afternoon away. I was missing what I thought was love, until it fell into my waiting arms, and I said, “hey now, isn’t this the good life?” So take a breath, close your eyes, and let your doubts fade away tonight because our real world’s become a dream we don’t have to wake up from. I’ll be turning 20 in just a matter of days, and I’ve barely had to live to learn that life works in mysterious ways.
